Our Beyond Audit Initiative goes beyond mere compliance, aiming to enhance social sustainability throughout the value chain by taking a proactive and collaborative approach to supply chain auditing. The Link’s dedicated Compliance Team has made significant strides in advancing innovative new sustainable social and environmental practices within the company’s supply chain operations. By visiting key supplier partners in person, Link’s team has worked to strengthen social compliance and create a template for identifying opportunities to foster sustainable practices within suppliers’ operations and workforces.

Noel Menassa, Link’s Operations Director, expressed his pride in the Sedex Award, stating, “I am honoured to have received this prestigious award. As a global business operating in more than 60 countries, we navigate complex, multi-tiered supply chains on behalf of our clients. That’s why we go beyond standard compliance; this initiative is about setting new benchmarks, exploring opportunities, and inspiring positive change within the supply chain.”

The Sedex Supply Chain Awards are held annually to recognise businesses and individuals for their efforts to drive social and environmental sustainability in supply chains. Over 300 companies and individuals submitted applications for the 2024 awards, and 18 winners were selected across seven categories after three rounds of evaluation.

Emma Pomeroy, Link’s Chief Sustainability Officer, also commented on the award: “I’m proud that Sedex has recognised Link among the hundreds of companies that entered these awards. This recognition reflects how we are truly breaking new ground with this fresh approach to supply chain social auditing. The Beyond Audit programme is a team effort, with the entire business working hard to create ethical and socially beneficial supply chains. A huge thanks to our Link team, supplier partners, and stakeholders for their collaboration and shared vision of driving positive change!”
