Link wins the Visa Values Award, a category celebrating suppliers that have driven sustainable practices with a significant impact on Visa’s emissions, supplier diversity, and ESG risk posture.
This prestigious recognition highlights Link’s innovative collaboration with Visa, particularly in delivering an environmentally and socially conscious merchandise catalogue for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Using its proprietary ESG Product Footprint Calculator, Link achieved remarkable results in advancing Visa’s sustainability objectives, including:
- 39% CO2e reduction, amounting to 83.4 tonnes of emissions saved
- 15% reduction in water consumption, conserving 9.7 million litres across the campaign
Visa’s Procurement Team challenged Link to develop the most sustainable merchandise catalogue possible. By employing lifecycle analysis methodologies and accredited third-party data sources, Link exceeded expectations, delivering a catalogue that set new standards for sustainability while maintaining exceptional quality.
These milestones were realised through strategic product design, sustainable material choices, and innovative packaging solutions. Additionally, the Visa Paris 2024 Olympics premia catalogue featured QR codes linked to detailed ESG credentials, empowering stakeholders and consumers to make informed decisions about product disposal and sustainability.
