Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company
Coca-Cola Hellenic and Link join forces to create one of the largest marketing services contracts in the outsourcing industry.
The challenge
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company is one of the world’ biggest Coca-Cola Bottlers, bottling and selling the beverages of The Coca-Cola Company exclusively in 29 markets from Poland to Nigeria. Before partnering with Link, CCHBC was sourcing marketing materials from hundreds of individual manufacturers with little coordination between markets or transparency through the value chain.
In 2018, CCHBC and Link formed a relationship which saw Link providing marketing products and services across a wide range of spend categories, including Point of Sale Materials, Print & Promotional Goods. This partnership has led to Link servicing 29 CCHBC markets across 3 continents worldwide, creating one of the largest marketing services contracts in the outsourcing industry.
The results
At the outset, Link and CCHBC set a number of ambitious mutual goals covering strategically important areas such as sustainability, innovation, technology, and supply chain development. Link has implemented a supply chain management solution focused on driving high quality service with consolidated and leveraged spend activity.
A diverse supply base facilitates a wide range of standards and compliance requirements and through this diversity, local Link teams can offer flexible solutions designed specifically for each market’s needs. Each market is treated individually, with over 70 dedicated Link staff managing local stakeholder engagement across the CCHBC network. This flexible, dynamic service platform delivers local requirements with the benefit of global procurement scale.
CCHBC stakeholders also benefit from a dedicated client portal which offers a centralised operational view and allows users to share knowledge and leverage best practice across their 29 markets worldwide.
“Our collaboration with Coca-Cola Hellenic has allowed us to develop marketing strategies that deliver distinct benefits.”
