Since 2021, Link has deepened its relationship with Mars to become their exclusive global partner for Premia Marketing Materials.

The challenge

Mars is well known in the food & pet care sectors for robust standards of quality & safety, both across its own product ranges, and its promotional marketing items. Mars and Link have been working together since 2015. In that time, Link’s dedicated sourcing teams in Hong Kong and China have developed an unrivalled understanding of the Mars Corporation, its brands, and rigorous Quality Assurance & Safety standards.

In 2021, Mars recognised the opportunity to expand its relationship with Link, in order to drive compliance further into the value chain, and help engage their global supply base with their ambitious sustainable supplier advancement programme.

The results

Mars has committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions across its value chain by 2050. Link’s ability to create a robust, sustainable, and compliant marketing goods supply chain for Mars is helping the manufacturer take big steps towards those green goals.

The newly expanded contract covers all markets worldwide and includes the design, sourcing, and delivery of promotional materials across the Mars organisation, including some of the world’s best-loved brands such as M&M’s, Dove & Royal Canin.

Link’s team is fully immersed in the Mars’ brands and commit 100% focus on the delivery of innovative, top quality marketing products, helping Mars maintain their market-leading position.
